How about a post regarding the docks that are slowly sinking?

Garbage piling up on the docks?

Dead Fish and all sorts of garbage left to float around the marina for weeks on end.

Haul out and Lauch date scheduling. Why do we have to bend to the marina management's schedule. The pace at which they work is unbelievably slow and not customer orientated

Ever wondered why the very high earner manager is the daughter of a city councilor / former member of the port board?

I suggest we start a blog about the haul outs.
First - why don't they have someone working on the weekend like every other marina in the world

Second - why is it that year round customers receive no consideration with respect to placement in the yard
people come from any other marinas for haul out and storage only - yet - they get prime placement in the yard while year round customers get stuck in the unsecured mud and slop bowl in the back

Whats up with that?

PS I have be be anonymous for fear the staff and managers will seek retribution I have heard some nasty stories from people who complain

Brilliant forum. Articulate, provocative and sadly accurate. How about a post regarding the terrible raccoon infestation and nightly damage done by them? Trap and removal time!!!!!!

Washroom closed for cleaning 2 hours per day on weekdays. Give me a break. Any other public washroom gets cleaned without shuting it down. The worst part is it's never even very clean after the long closure. Same dirt and cobwebs on the floor, in the corners etc. Any redo that yellow gunk they used to caulk around the sinks in the mens washroom. It looks disgusting. They still can't seem to keep the toilet paper rolls full. The majority of the cleaning should be taking place on the weekends when the usage of the facitity is highest, not on weekdays. Duh wake up management. There is no reason why the washroom can't be cleaned while still remaining operationial. How about doing during off peak times too.

By the way the new portable washroom at B-dock. My head on the boat has a bigger bowl. Ever hear of commercial type elongated bowls! These must of been on sale because no one else would buy them.
